Industrial-grade Isolated 4-ch RS485 Hub

The Waveshare RS485-HUB-4P is an industrial-grade, isolated 8-channel RS485 hub designed to expand RS485 networks with enhanced reliability and safety. It connects up to eight RS485 slave devices via a single master port, offering relay, extension, and isolation functions. Each port supports up to 32 nodes and a communication distance of up to 1200 meters at 9600bps, with a self-adaptive baud rate range from 300 to 460800bps. Built for rugged environments, it features photoelectric isolation to protect against ground potential differences, electrostatic discharge, lightning, and surges. The hub operates in half-duplex mode using standard two-wire RS485 (A, B) and supports DC 9–24V power input via screw terminals. Its rail-mountable design ensures easy installation on 35mm DIN rails, making it ideal for data acquisition, IoT gateways, intelligent monitoring, and industrial automation. The RS485-HUB-8P is particularly useful in star-topology setups, where it isolates interference between devices, ensuring stable communication.
